The Life and Times of a High School Brony
"So, how are things with you?"
"Eh, they've been better, my grades are kinda slipping."
"Well, study hard, we have a chem test coming up. See ya, I gotta go to English."
David lay on the ground beaten up. Amuun had been pummeling him since Elementary School, so by the time he had become a Sophomore, the beating had become somewhat of a routine for him. In fact, David didn't really mind anymore. Amun never caused any serious damage, and the pain went away fairly quickly.
David stood up and opened his locker. He brushed past a Blink-182 poster, through some old papers, lifter a box which he had put a "My Chemical Romance" sticker on, reached into his pocket, took out a key, and unlocked it.
David pulled the precious cargo from the box. He stared at it in all its glory.
"Oh, Fluttershy. You always make me feel better!"
David put the small figurine back into the box and locked it up. Because it was late May, the last episode of season nine for "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" had already aired. Waiting between seasons was torture, but Fluttershy, and the brony community on the internet, helped ease the pain.
After School, David was walking home when he saw a cardboard box laying on the side of the road.
"Oh mah gawd! My little dashie!" David ran over to pick it up. Then, a crack addict jumped out of a nearby bush and kicked him in the crotch.
"Stay away from my house, ya freak!"
David walked the rest of the way home with a gloomy mood. He flung open the door to his house, walked past his sister and father sitting on the couch, both of them holding up large signs that said "We need to talk, David" and went up to his room.
First, David went on Equestria Daily to check out the news on all things brony.
Then, he went on My Little Brony for some laughs.
Then, on to youtube to check some PMVs.
After a few hours, David went down to get a soda, and then noticed that his dad and sister were still sitting on the couch.
"Wow, that's dedication," David said, impressed.
"David , we need to talk," said Casy, David's 14 year old sister.
"Yeah, I saw the sign," David said, pointing to the sign.
"No need to be a smartass, David, we have something very important to discuss. We found some very disturbing drawings you made."
"Crap! You found them?"
David's father held up the drawings.
"Yes. And we were very shocked."
The pictures depicted Rainbow Dash making out with Rarity.
"I thought we taught you better! This is a strictly Twidash house. You are henceforth grounded."
The next day at school, Amun showed up for the daily beating, when he noticed the drawings that David had rescued from his father's clutches.
"Oh my god? Really?"
"Oh no, here it comes. The brony hate."
David braced himself.
"Dude, everyone knows Twidash is better the Rardash."
"Why does everyone say that?"
Amun rewarded him by shoving him into the water fountain.
With a thud, he hit his head, and all went black.
